So it looks like it's gonna be crappy out this weekend. I'll probably still show up at Photo's on Saturday unless it's pouring, if anyone else is interested in hanging out.

For those who haven't been, it's a good time. Get to Photo's on Kensington and Wolf in Mt. Prospect around 6:30, hang out for a while, eat or whatever, then head to maybe the train station or Woodfire (?) for the flamethrower car show. It's still early in the season (and weather has been weird) so the turnout hasn't been huge. I've talked to a bunch of people who have expressed interest in stopping by though, hopefully it will start picking up. Come out and show us your car!

Friday night at Meijer on Golf and Algonquin is also a possibility, it might be nice out that night. I'd be up for it out if anyone else wants to check it out.

Also, for anyone who's interested, Unsane is in town tonight at Subterranean in Chicago. I'll be there, without the car of course.

Won't be able to make it this time bro. It was a good time last time. But the V8 Havoc group is having their meet again this Saturday. Went to last month's and they're all pretty cool as well! So many groups to hang out with all of a sudden lol

I will be at ThirdGen Fest in Crete until probably 5 or so. Then if the weather is good I may just drive straight to Photo's from there.
As of right now though, the weather does not look good at all.

I haven't been on the site much this week. Busy work schedule. Stupid job. Early retirement is just around the corner though.

Thanks for asking...it's "done", although there's going to be some fallout. The good was better than expected...the bad was worse than expected. I don't want to start spouting off yet, I'm still collecting my thoughts. I'm anxious to meet up with you guys to get your opinions. It looks like it might be clear earlier Friday evening, you interested in checking out Meijer?

Not sure about Mark, but I doubt I could make it to Meijer tonight..... I'll probably be working late, plus Friday is a lifting/workout night for me and I have to do some shopping with the wife.

Looks like Saturday weather is gonna blow, but there's no reason why we couldn't meet up for a daily driver show or something. If you guys still want to head out just let me know.

Hey, what was the deal with yours, you had to replace the windshield twice or something?

Yeah, I'm hoping it will be nice out, I can't wait to get the Formula out. I still have ongoing customer service issues with the work, but there's no doubt it's a changed car with the mods. But yeah, if it's crappy, DD show with bench racing.

Yeah, I put a new windshield in the car about 4 weeks ago just because it would look cleaner and it was a good price. (Nothing wrong with the original one) Then this past Sat I was doing the engine bay detailing and while removing the cowl panel ended up very lightly prying on the windshield and heard a chip, that was bad but then a few seconds later I heard the sound that is only made by a windshield crack traveling the length of the glass. So that's that. On tue I had my guy install another new windshield and now all is good except for the $200 I had to pay him to replace a 4 week old windshield.
Don't know what the moral of the story is, but the engine bay looks great!

Yep, 6:30 or so. I didn't end up going out tonight, the Formula needed a major detail after the mods, so I got caught up in that until dark. There's a lot more engine compartment visible now. Hoping to show it off tomorrow.
