All needed for MS4?
I am going to put in am MS4 on stock heads, I was wondering all that would be needed, I was going to order the MS4 Cam, Comp 918 Valvesprings, TSP Chromoly Hardened Pushrods, and a Ported LS6 Oil pump. Now with all these would I be able to run the ms4 on my camaro without any further mods to the heads?
And also, what length should I run on the pushrods? Just the standard 7.400" or?

I was also looking on TSP, apparently they have a kit that comes with the MS4 that comes with those valvesprings and the pushrods for about 800 bucks. Would I need the Ported oil pump, and possibly a new headgasket?

Comp Cams rates the 918 spring to .600 lift... The MS4 is .649 lift. If TSP has those springs with an option it has to be an error.
You'll be lucky to get 5 mins of engine idle before dropping a valve with that setup.
Standard pushrod length with non-adjustable rockers.

no go with the tsp cam kit. it will come with all you NEED for a cam swap. i owuld get a ported ls6 oil pump and a ls2 timing chain and get a pulley since you'll be right htere anyway and pulleys help out a lot when doing a cam swap

Like they said you'll need the dual springs with that cam, and I would go ahead and get a ported oil pump and a new timing chain as well. As far as not having to mod your heads its going to depend on what lsa you go with to determine if you need to flycut or not.

Well im still running the stock LS1 oil pump bc i didnt know i would have to drop the oil pan a lil to put in the LS6 ported one. So i just left it and the Double roller i have off until i get an UD pulley and then ill do those.
You definitely will HAVE to get dual springs and all that good stuff.
