Default calling the CETA experts

hi everyone I just did the CETA mod for my lt1.I have no idea what gloss,semi-gloss or flat is. all I did whas sand the bumper,prep and then spray. well the thing is I like the mod but I don't feel satisfy with mine.Could be the color also, it doesn't shine and it looks plain and cheap. do u recomend me to put black instead of silver. Here's a pic of the car and the things I used, thanks for your replies.

If it doesn't shine, then it's "flat".
Shiny = "gloss"
Kinda shiny = "semi-gloss"

Silver rarely looks good from spraypaint. Go with black.

if I spray black now should I sand the bumper again or just spray over the actual color.

I would definitely go with black. Either gloss or semi-gloss.

I always prefer black when it comes to CETA mods so I think that's the way to go. It's good that you went ahead and did it yourself rather than being a panzy and making someone else do it for you. With that being said, you should probably take a look into learning a little bit about the paint you're about to use. Knowing the different types of finishes is really pretty basic so I'm surprised you didn't screw something up. At least you can always sand it down and repaint

Your car is sunset orange, no? If so, go with a satin dark grey.

If it's red, go with black, either satin or gloss.

If you're wanting it 'shinier' then just sand it down and go with a gloss or semi-gloss.

I think its too light, IMO black would look better. You can never go wrong with black.
