Default Dyno error in your favor, collect 100 hp

OK, so we were having some isues with TTi's dyno Tuesday...

One run 10 psi SAE corrected to 704 hp. But upon closer investigation, the CF was WAY off at 1.1ish. So that run uncorrected comes out to 612 rwhp:

Here is the SAE graph:

So I am at 600+ at 10 psi Which is still fantastic for that boost level.

We did up the boost to 12 psi for a couple of runs to see how everything was doing... those pulls resulted in 676rwhp SAE. Which is still higher than the best pulls with the old system running 16-17psi.

I was getting some wierd boost spikes of 15psi as we first come on boost that resulted in some just insane power levels at very low rpm:

So anyway, it looks like I am having several issues.
1. Boost controller spiking (no idea whats going on)
2. Accel DFI Wide band is not reading accurate not even close, reading 14:1 when the Dyno read 12:1. (no Idea whats going on here)
3. Fuel Pressure issue, currently looks like the Fuel pressure regulator is the cause... Damn me for buying a freaking China special.

Anyway I just got the files and I believe in being honest with you guys.

Looks like I have some work ahead...

All small issues that you'll have figured out in no time, keep posting up these awesome numbers, TT really out did themselves with this kit.

All pulls are unlocked, I killed a transmission a few years back doing the prototyping of the NX MAF system cause I was hitting it locked.

Regarding the WB....not to point out the obvious but when MM got his car back from TTi with his race kit....his WB was before the turbo not after as it should.

Either way, glad to see you finally making some numbers...looks promising.

The Boost controller is the MSBC-1 from Innovative/Exhile.

And the WB is right after the turbo as it should be...

you should dyno locked/unlocked or run at the track that way to make sure that converter is holding all the hosspowah you are putting to it. I know my PI Vig converters never held

IMO its a lot easier to tune locking the converter, just make sure its locked before you nail it on the dyno and you shouldnt have any problems. But i'm sure those guys know what they are doing.

Thats a big difference in widebands, I have alwasy been pretty close with the in-car widebands but sometimes the DJ sniffer can get weird. You can put the dynojet sensor where the FAST sensor in and see what it reads. One well placed little air leak near the sensor and it will screw up the readings prety well.

I always had that issue on the dyno with the msbc. (though it worked fine on the street/track). What I've done that helps is put a .030-.040 bleed in the hose going from the increase solenoid to the top of the wastegate. Seems to soften the hit to the gate and smooth out the roller-coaster effect.
