Default 13 Area Hobbyshop

Today was a good day. For those of you who frequent the 13 Area Auto Skills Center in Pendleton, I'm the guy with the black T/A(not the one parked out front). I'm just excited because the LS7 swap is almost complete and I heard that engine fire up for the first time today.

It's cool. There's two auto hobby shops down here. Just make sure you past smog. You'll need it for your decal. It doesn't matter if your car is registered out of state, you'll still need a base validation.

I couldn't tell you. But what I do now is that most people keep it registerd out of state. Pass the Smog once and you never have to worry about it again after you get your decal.

Nick
I'll be there late afternoon. Give me a call.

It is still being decided on the Navy/Marine Corps side of the house.

It is a GREAT idea and I hope it goes through.

You know damn well it won't. The money that is spent for alternative means of securing the base will far exceed the cost of the stickers. It would be nice to not get harassed driving my wife's car on base though.

Nice job on the builds. Will be doing a H/C swap on the formula at the auto hobby shop as soon as I liquidate some of my automotive assets

You havent been able to get on base with just a sticker in almost 6 years now. So they serve no purpose. Stickers for umteen thousand members cars could easily be expensive. Plus paying people to sit at the welcome center to hand out stickers makes no sense.

Exactly, everyone coming on to base has to show ID anyway, so the sticker is redundant.

Thanks. I finally drove it out of there. PM me if you need help with your H/C. Even though the resources there are top notch, they might not have all the tools that you might need.
