Air Noise at High Speeds?
Ok, wasnt sure what to title the thread. So if some of you dont already know by my last thread, i have a 2002 Chevy Camaro Z28.
Well anyways last night i was drivin back home from being out of town. So there wasnt much car's, and there's long straight away's. So i decided to punch it, and i hit 145 mph and i noticed that you can hear the air noise from the window's at that high of a speed. Basically sounded like i didnt have the window rolled up completely, but i did.
So i was just wondering, is that normal for a Camaro to do at a high speed??? I never picked it up that high before, the highest was 115.

Welcome to the world of the fourth gen F-body. Another one in a line of things that really suck about these cars.
Of course, you stomp the go pedal and those worries are left behind with about .001" of rubber.

Yup, that's normal. I think the air pressure pulls on the window and causes it to loose the seal at the top. It's a little worrysome the first time you experience this isn't it?

I'd watch those window guides at high speeds. Mine broke the rear one on the driver's side after that Rattled my window a bit when I closed the door and ended up gouging the window a little near the top of it. Not a happy camper.
