Default Me vs TT Cobra at Bradenton

http://www.haulass.net/jarrod/78mphp...mp_june_07.avi

Traction was an issue for the both of us.
There were three races, video messed up on the first run. I redlighted and ran 11.2 @ 121, he let off. This video is the 2nd and third runs.
This race was due to me calling the Cobra out.
Enjoy

Yep, 26" ET Street Radials.
I haven't been able to spray these tires out of the hole.
On the ET Streets, I've gone 1.49 a couple times and many 1.52-1.54 60'

Nice reaction time in the last run. Congrats on the kill. It's amazing what a good high stall converter can do.

It's funny that people don't understand the power of a properly setup automatic. Shame they aren't as fun to drive on the street

Thats why I have the 6 speed.
I know I am not the fastest at the track, never will be, but my car is a for the street and it will see some track time. Plus I like to auto x it sometimes.

Besides, I like shifting gears and breaking ****

Thanks. Very true, people underestimate the benefits of a tq converter. I just tell people that I make less than 300 rwhp. Then watch their expressions after they get whooped.

Honestly, I'm not sure.

I agree. Big stall converter cars are not fun in traffic. AutoX is kind of out of the question too. Not saying it can't be done, just not anywhere near what a 6 speed could do.

i have some MT ET streets sitting at home waiting to be put on........ once i have my 9" installed..... should be lots of fun launching on those tires

i doubt I'll run a 12.1 and Im' acctually finding it a little hard to believe that you ran a 12.1 on less then 300whp...... even with perfect traction.....

12.41 lol could have been a 12.20 if I knew the car was going to run that well..

I had so much crap in the car, plus the heavy stock front tires. It will run that before I go with a cam I think. Just have to wait for better weather.

its not hard to do, if you have it set up right, and take alittle weight out. There are guys in the 10's with bolt on autos. Granted alot of them are gutted all to hell, but they are bolt on cars.

11's are not hard at all

You can't look at the rwhp figures honestly. A stalled auto will not dyno any where near a 6 speed. I would be closer to around 310ish if I were a 6 speed.
My best time with stock exhaust (manifolds and ws-6 exhaust) was 12.515 @ 106 I believe. You can't underestimate the benefits of a great converter.

I think that I've got video of it somewhere, I'll try and dig it up. And, if you really want, I'll post my dyno graph.
