Default wolfe cage in my formula

well i wanted one for my car eventually anyways, but i found a good deal i couldnt pass up. its a 5 point but i think i am just going to keep it a 4 point and use the end of the 5th point as a cup holder or something, pick up some pvc from home depot and mount something to it and paint it. was thinking about painting it silver but went with green and it matched pretty well.

aanyways comments and criticisms are welcome. no i dont need one, but i wanted one

Great buy, hopefully you have plans for power that necessitates such a safety device..

Painting it makes it non-certifiable at the track btw... should have powder-coated it instead. So good luck at any true track if you run fast enough to need it.

Looks really good.

Does the car feel more ridged with it installed now?

Thank you for the response. I've been thinking about their four point cage for a little while for the exact same reasons as you and I was wondering how much better it would make the car feel.
That and I want to put my camcorder on the cross bar between the seats.

That's the biggest understatment of the year. The roads here f-ing suck! That's the sole reason why I havn't lowered my Camaro yet.

Think you need some padding so your brain doesn't get turned to mush, seeing as you have stock seats and not fixed backs.

I thought that was the other way around. They won't except a powdercoated bar?

i really would like to make my car into something i could use road racing or autocrossing one day which is what makes me want the cage, for body rigidy (and i just think they look badass from the rear without tint.) i got mine for $300 with a 5point harness which is alot cheaper than new
