Default Ok something had to give again

I was getting ready to go out pulled out onto US1 I guess I got on it harder than I thought and broke the 2nd tranny mount this year anyone know of away to stop this??

120 every time it breaks it hurts

Mine popped too a couple weeks back, I was told one from a 3rd gen fits and you can get them cheap at Autozone.

Was wondering why ya didn't make it. Tranny mount? Hmmm... you mean the cross member that the tail end of the tranny sits on?? Or, are you breaking the bolt that goes up through the bushing? Sounds weird, get a picture or two. Sorry you didn't make it out. Good thing the meets are like everyweek and then the cruises every month.. there'll be another.

ya you can get the poly urethane ones and that should hold up better..just from being made from higher quality material..i go through tranny mountys like a ****.

Ive broken mine before, right after I got dr's,3.73's and exhaust. Floored it in 1'st and when the car shifted in 2n'd - bam! Im just glad it wasnt the rear end!

stop takin that **** to the shop. go to autozone, pick up a poly energy suspension mount and take the 20 minutes to DIY and save yourself the $$$$. Very easy to fix if you have a jack and jack stands and a piece of 2x4 to lift the tranny up and move the cross member. 3 bolts and a couple of shims later you are done.
