Angry SS Wont Move!!!!!!!!!!!

For the last few weeeks, when ever i would mash on the gas pedal a little, my car would kinda of lock up like something was grinding. I figured maybe it was my rear end, since the tranny was rebuilt like a year ago and it still shifted normal at crusin speeds. But today i stepped on it real hard, and then what ever the clanking, lock up noise i've been hearing was worst than ever, then all the sudden the car would not accelerate and when i would press the gas pedal it would just make a whinning noise, similar to a supercharger. Does anyone know what this might be?

did you check underneath the car? you may have split the driveshaft in half. breaking the driveshaft in half would transfer no energy to the rear end meaning you won't go anywhere, and a freely spinning driveshaft attached to no load would make a loud, whining noise. i'd take a look at that.

and by breaking the driveshaft, i mean it may have came apart at the yoke or the u-joints. it should be pretty obvious if it's busted.

should of bought a mustang

I wouldnt think it were the driveshaft as he'd here the yoke and shaft spinning and that would more than likely hit the underside...but then again its a ls1 lol

i vote for TQ verter aswell, and heres why lol

if the car starts and no problmes its not the engine,

if you put the car in Nuetral and push it and it rolls, its not the Rear

leading us only one thing...The trans!

time to take it back to that place and do some complaining!

No fluid?......not good. Where was it leaking from? This is why I check my fluids at minumum once a week. Call me **** but I have never ran out of anything and have actually caught a couple leaks before they turned into something big.
