Re: What kind of paint to use on headers
i used por 15 factory manifold gray. i bought some el cheapo foam brushes at home depot and they werked fine. it is a good idea to use a real thin brush like 1/2 inch to get into the bends of the headers. also the paint tends to be real liquidy so it takes some time. when i did my headers, i put on 4 coats.

I hear just plain old bar-b-que grill paint works great. I have never used it but I hear it is some good stuff. I think most Autozone's and Walmart's carry it. Ya could give it a try.
