Hey! My buddy does indeed have a SR in his car. I guess he's not ready for V8s. This has always been a question and well we finally got our answer.

Did you show up to the Alhambra meet this past week? I showed up in my Z06.

No I didnt. I dont go to meets, and my car is still slow, regardless of what you think. stupid 12 bolt is eating up a lot of my horsepower.

Oh and disregard whats in my sig, my best time is a lousy 8.03 @ 89mph, and a best of 8.04 after my 12 bolt @ 88 mph..

My mods now are the Lid, K&N, LTs, but H pipe dumped under my seat, full suspension ( road racing) including 3 pt SFC, UMI TA w ds loop, konis,strano springs, swaybars, PHB, LCA, Moser 12 bolt trutrac 3.73s, rebuilt T-56, LS7 clutch aluminum fw.

Cool deal. My car is still stock as well. W2W is building me a 427 fully forged Long Block and I'm getting the APS Kit for my car as well.



When my friend and I were driving he told me "That guy probably thinks your full of **** because you told him you own a Z06"

when you said that at first, I thought you meant a C5 Z06 which isnt unbelievable... but I saw C6 Z06 in your sig when you made this thread. Its still believeable. why not? a guy I know with a Black SRT-8 Charger also has a gallardo, but he cant drive for ****!

lol, Ive been doing awsome on freeway pulls against the turbo golf and a couple BMWs and a Lightning, as well as the Nissan. Pull away like hell when I shift to 4th. I guess the 3.73s inb the 1:1 really pull hard.

I havent had the chance, I may go next thursday. I dont have tires to race on, theyre still the M/Ts and Im gonna wait for my Bogarts which should some in a month.

We got the GM meet at Ricks on tue 7-17 and we're trying out the Diner (across the street from Ricks) on 7-18 for a vette only meet that starting august will be on the first wed of every month. My car will have the ultimate balance of both soon.

@ dragstrip Bogarts go on, and front swaybar must get disconnected. Lets see how thatll help.

for the street, swaybar goes back on as well as stocker snowflake rims and tires meant for the road, Nittos...

Future mods also should include:

Billet steel fw and lighter pressure plate and clutch to make up for the FW getting heavier.

Reason being... Id have the best of both worlds with a billet FW vs aluminum being too light for drag, so I wont bog and steel too heavy for road racing.

I just Got pulled over today(like a little over an hour ago).... they made me get out and searched me and made me sit in the back of a patrol car. They searched my care and let me go.

No cause, probably they chose me since my car is loud , they also saw my bald tires. I told them Im getting new ones tomorrow.

I also had found a gas cap a week ago @ the gas station, they found that and asked me why I have it? I told them I found it, they said people keep illegal drugs there, etc..
they asked me is it okay if we bring a drug dog, to sniff the cap, I said "sure". Then they let me go, when I said "Sure".
