My APS Car is almost Done
Slowhawk was tuning this morning but stopped due to how hot it was out.
Bear in mind that this is a 99 Coupe with Minimal mods, so it's not going to put out huge numbers like the LS6's or modified LS1's that have been making upper 500's to upper 600's. Power affecting mod list is -- LS6 Manifold, Corsa Indy Cat-back, 160* Thermostat, 60# Motron Injectors, Comp 918 Springs, ECS Methanol Injection kit, Lingenfelter Fuel Pump, Powerbond Underdrive Pulley, LS6 PCV conversion, and a Tex OZ700 Clutch (don't know if it's heavier or lighter than stock). I have a Jantzer ported TB housing to swap on once I get the car back and that's going to be it for quite a while. This is a minimalistic car that should be completely stockish when you're easy on it but still will try to keep up with the bigger boys when it's time.
So far, Don got it to 500 RWHP/530 RWTQ this morning on 8 lbs. We are planning to go to 10 lbs and see how it reacts. This is with a 2 Bar Speed Density Tune. *Edit* Says it's making 500 TQ @ 3500 RPM!!!! That's freaking cool right there.
For those from the corvette forum, don't bother posting this there, I'll be doing it later today when I get home.
I think this 5+ month saga is FINALLY coming to an end (probably will pick up the car at the 6 month point).

Picked up the car yesterday. Essentially spend a little over 24 hours in the car. Drove from Dez Racing down to McGuire AFB, proceeded to get my *** smacked around by Call911's car a few times, took a break, and then headed home at 0130 in the AM. Slept for 3 hours from 0630-0930, stopped in Greensburg IN to help a friend piece together his 350Z for a couple of hours, then the last 4.5 hours back to St. Louis.
The car is AMAZING. Power everywhere, just screams. It's going to turn some good track times.
But the best part is that there is NOTHING externally to denote that it's packing 500 RWHP and 521 RWTQ. Absolutely nothing. You can't hear the turbo's, you can BARELY hear the BOV's from inside the car with the windows up when closing the throttle under boost. I did a flyby on vid with a shift at the camera point and all you hear is the corsa cat-back screaming. Someone's going to get their ego seriously damaged by this car when they think they've got an easy stockish C5 kill.
