Hey, does anyone know where there is a hang out where people bring their cars around the Atascocita, Humble, Kingwood area? I am new to the area and have been driving up and down 1960 looking for people hanging out.

1960 = cops.
We used to have weekly gatherings on Saturday night until all the ricers started showing up and doing donuts in the parking lot and other childish bullshit. Now all the large gatherings tend to get busted up by the cops in no time.
Just keep an eye on the events posted at the top of this forum.

It doesn't have to be 1960, just somewhere in a reasonable driving distance. I live off of West Lake Houston Parkway. I drove down 1960 last night at about 9:00pm and I saw a few cars heading West going over 59. Never could figure out where they were going. I was bored my wife is out of town.

Yeah I saw that. My parents are coming in town though. I just bought this car and my dad is coming in to help me change all of the fluids and tinker around with it. Maybe I could talk him in to bringing one of his corvettes and then my wife, mom and dad could all go on the cruise. Hmm

AHHHHH The good ole days. I think it was on Friday night. You can always go see the same old cars @ 24 hr fittness every saturday now. Someone needs to buy a parking lot somewhere on 1960 so we can go hang out like the old days.

I've checked out the 24 hour meet before and there were some nice cars for sure. Only thing was everybody went home really early and there were maybe 40 cars tops that i ever saw there, where as the old james coney meet would get huuuuge sometimes!

hell, I still remember the Miami Subs days, back in 97-99. That is when we could still street race on Westheimer all night long. We call those the "Pre-Fast & Furious" days. When cops would sometimes flag off the races out on Rankin and hang out with us. ******* ricers pretty much ruined any street racing after that movie came out, and it brought too much public attention to the horrors of outlaw street racers
