my best so far is 11.7, stock rear end. that was before my headers and exhaust, i'll bet i'm hitting mid to low 11s now, and i'm hoping the stock rear will still hold

Yes, 11.9 with a 1.78 60' time. I am going to try to spray right out the hole. Hope it holds up.

11.18 @124 on a stock 10 bolt with 3.73's. I pretty much rolled into the throttle instead of launching the car and had a 1.75 60' time.

The 3.73 gears are great and worked out real good since my car is a auto. It originally came with 2.73 gears and after the swap it was like night and day.

I would definately go with a set of 3.73's but would wait until you decided to upgrade to a new rearend (9in. or 12 bolt). The money you would spend on new gears, install kit, and to have sombody to install them if you can't do it yourself would be around $600 that you could use towards a new rear. It sucks wondering everytime you go to the track if the stock 10 is going to blow.
