What color sail Panel
I am going to the Chevrolet dealership on Friday to see if they will fix my sail panel. (It has some bubbles). I am 99% sure they will because they already fixed my 2001 Z28. I am sure if I asked I could get them to paint it SOM. Here is a pic of the car.....should it stay black or get it painted sunset orange....if anyone has pics they should post them.....Thanks

I voted black. Reason being if you're doing partial paint work there will be no issues matching the existing paint. Also, because it is an SS it's got collector value and if factory sail paint would be black, people might assume it's been repainted due to an accident.
Just my thoughts....none of which may be valid

Everyone told me I was crazy when I said I was going to paint my roof cap body collor. I got far more complements on the car with it being body collor than when it was black.
I personally think the body collored top gives the Camaro a more sporty and better proportioned appearance. The black top gives the illusion of a longer, heavier, less sporty appearance... IMO.
Im not the only one who likes them with the body collored roof, check out the Bergers, GMMG, Dick Harrel and the anniversary addition cars.
Heres my old SS...
And a ZL1....

do it SOM. trust me.
and i have plenty more where those came from, just in case!
to me, when its black, it makes the windows look even bigger, almost like there is a glass cockpit on top of the car. it reminds me of a subaru svx or something...
