Was kinda hoping to get the TSP version, simply because after searching the forums for quite a while, it seemed like the TSP has less fitment issues than the MTI, although I could be wrong.

Perhaps I will just get the MTI and hope it fits.

Just call TSP during business hours and order it directly from them over the phone. It's just a lid, nothing technical about it.

MTI hasn't had any fitment issues that i am aware. One guy went ape ****, but then he later recanted admitting that he was doing something wrong (can't remember what). i have one and love it. Every time I open my hood, i get a comment, even from non-car guys/chicks. Get an MTI, they're the best!

I just installed an MTI clear lid. I was going to paint it myself at some point but everybody comments on it as soon as they see it so maybe I'll just leave it. I do feel like it could fit a lot better but once it's in and clamped down it works just fine.

Texas Speed and Performance no longer makes lids. I have been trying to get my hands on a used one in good condition for quite some time now.

Couldn't they just find another vendor?
