Default Shifting into 3rd?

Anyone else have issues sometimes getting thrid in gear when you run on the track or run on the street? I can slam all the gears fine but sometimes third just doesnt want to go in. Is this common, or do i just need to concentrate more?

Yes, the 2-3 shift is the hardest. I have much less trouble since I changed the shifter.

I used to have trouble with the stock shifter, once I bought a Pro 5.0 with a cut Lou's short stick it feels perfect slamming into 3rd.

Mine was doing that before the new setup, turned out to be the syncros were worn bad. Joe @T56 Rebuilds did his majic and it's one of the smoothest shifting trannies I've ever raced.

The 2-3 shift is always the hardest, but can be much worse if the syncs are worn. It can make you look like a rookie racer.

The drill mod is more of a fix for the pedal sticking, not necessarily for hard 3rd gear shifts. The factory hole is very small, thus being restrictive.
