Default Cruise downtown Houston?

Why don't we try something a little different from the usual Galveston cruise? I think seeing 50+ fbodys, vettes, gtos, etc would be pretty badass cruising the streets of downtown Houston.

We could all park in a parking garage and eat at Hard Rock, The Aquarium, or something of that nature and then find a good open lot to take pictures afterwards?

Just throwin out ideas here.

Sounds like it would be cool to me, I'd be up for it. A couple weeks from now and I'd be free.

I'm thinkin something like the weekend of August 27th/28th might be good. Plenty of time to get something organized and advanced notice. Doesn't really matter when to me because I always have the weekend off.

Anybody know of a good place in downtown to eat and/or take pictures? I know of a pretty cool pool hall by hard Rock Cafe that might be good but I think underage people might not be able to get in. Suggestions?

Night or Day, most pool halls i thought were open to 21 and under atleast till 9pm. I really don't know just going by the Grill/Bars by my house. I liked the Hard Rock idea, haven't been there since it moved to that location.

Rocbar is next to Hard Rock and is a good place for the older crowd later.

We have a hard enough time on the freeways I cant even admagine downtown! haha id be down if im off

I think we should all go up into the national forest north of conroe or up towards livingston. Head up 149 or one of the big back roads then eat and hang out up at papas on the lake. we did that last year with about 20 cars, one of the best cruises yet, just an idea

Hell isn't there one in Huntsville also? I like this idea too Greg I just like cruises that don't involve racking the miles up on my car

cruise = miles sorry dude thats life haha. last week i went up to livingston then to hunstville. between livingston and hunstville 156 is great, wide open and almost no one back there. plus those roads are all one lane, so people racing and stuff shouldnt be an issue

I really don't think a cruise through downtown would work depending on the number of cars that show. If you get 20-25 cars or more people are going to be getting stuck at lights, behind people turning from teh cross streets etc. It's a cool idea though, just doubt it would work.

Well maybe not necessarily a cruise downtown, but maybe the loop and just eat in downtown. I don't know....

But I would like to try somethin new and I like Pssycotic's national forest idea
