Need advice - what clutch to get :)
So I bought my TA and the clutch is slipping. I have about 340whp, but plan to put some 100 shot. It's daily driven, but I do dragracing a lot. We don't have special tracks here, so I have to slip a clutch a lot to get good start.
So, what inexpensive clutch should I get? Please advise

340 wheel plus 100 shot = 440rwhp (technically, not actually) = not even close to an LS7 clutch's limits...
If there is any doubt, throw an exo skel in there and never look back...it is $$ though..

I really can't afford $980 or $1250 + shipping + taxes
What I didn't tell you is I'm going to swap in A3 next year because I want to install turbo and I'll be dragracing a lot. So this clutch will not be for 2 or 5 years
So as I understand you strongly recommend against SPEC, and vote for LS7?

I was in the same boat, Ive put alot of clutches in at the shop. We dont use spec anymore. And beem using rams,I liked them. And went with a ram HD for room to grow, we stock them also so it was easy. But see if you can drive a car with one, same pedel as a powergrip BTW.

I'm leaning more towards SPEC Stage 2+... Mainly because LS7 setup weighs over 65lbs and it's too expensive to ship.
BTW I have SPEC Stage1 now in my Nissan Silvia, and it holds more or less fine, even with all clutch-slipping launches it has to deal with. Perfectly fine in city driving too. But I bought this clutch about 2 years ago... Maybe quality have changed since then?
