2 cars, unlike modds, who will be faster?
i think it will be fun to see what the pro's here will think,
whe are two friends from iceland registered here on ls1tech,
whe are both modding our cars, but in a unlike way,
the cars are both m6's 98Z and 02Z,
with the modds, what car do you think will be faster? street and strip,
o-ss-kar's 02 Z28,M6
stock rear end
lq9 6.0l iron block, stock compr..
ls6 intake
stock TB
granatelli maf
lid
Hooker LT's
non catted Ory
Borla catback
MS4 cam 111LSA
compi cam prc double valve springs
chromoly push rods,
titanium retainers
LS7 clutch kit
LS2 Flywheel
awesome car..
then it is my car,
98 Z28, M6
stock rear end
99 block
Patriot ls6 StageII heads, 59cc (11.1:1 compression)
patriot gold extreme lift, double valve springs
titanium retainers
chromoly pushrods
Harland sharp roller rockers
LS7 lifters
226/226 .585 112LSA
FAST 90mm intake
NW 90mm Tb
FAST fuel rails
SVO 42lb's injectors
85mm MAF
Pacesetter LT's
pacesetter non catted Y pipe
SLP loudmouth1 catback
upgraded knock sensor (upgrade)
LS2 flywheel
LS7 clutch kit
EGR delete.
and then it is another thing, the 02 cars has a Direct port NX nitrous system, 150 shot,
my car is getting a NX plate system, 100shot and Racetronix Fuel system,
the Ms4 is not installed in the 02 car yet, and my motor have not bin started, so whe dont have a clue how they will be,
me myself think because of the ms4 cam the maroon 02 car will not have much less of a power then my H/C/I car, so i am curius who will be faster, both N/A and with the shot,

You better go from a dig if you want a chance. Top end he's gonna walk u with the bigger cam and extra displacement. The 90/90 setup will help but I dont' think it'll equal it out. W/ the N20, definately his win, all around assuming equal drivers in all senarios.

i am talking about with out the nitrous,
my car is more modded.. has the FAST90/90 and stage2 heads, also the 11,1compression agengst stock 10.2,
i am hoping for around 420-430rwhp wth my set up, i have seen cam only ms4 cars goe to like 405 rwhp, so my car should have alittle bit more power,
but that is my fear.. that after all my modds and money spending, he will be just as powerfull as my car,

I say from a dig it will be close till 100. then his extra 50 shot and bigger cam will take you.
and from a roll i think itl be worse.
hes not going to win by much maybe a car and 1/2 (only if both drivers are equal)

We are trying to cut down on the "which is faster" threads.
Once you do the race, feel free to post the results in the Kills section.
Thanks.
