Default Magnaflow or Hooker catback?

Ive got the basic bolt-ons right now; headers, ory, loudmouth. Ive been driving around with this setup for about a year and ive finally had enough. Im getting another car to drive around on weekends so this thing is going to be pulling straight DD duty and I'd like to make it as quiet as possible by changing the catback.

My choices are between Hooker and Magnaflow becuase theyre both relatively cheap and supposedly quiet. What I'd like to know is which one is quieter and which would you rather have on a daily driven car?

Also what id really like to see is some rear end shots of camaros to see what the exhausts will look like so post up your pics.

Magnaflow is more refined IMO. I had the mufflex setup with the 4" in/out Magnaflow muffler. It was quiet till you dropped the hammer on the throttle.

Here are some pictures of it. https://ls1tech.com/forums/staff-vehicles-showcase/621483-orangeapeel-s-99-s.html

Magnaflow is quieter, but you still have an ORY, so it's going to rasp dude.

You get the machine gun rasp with the ory.

Sorry man, Magnaflow is not quieter than Hooker. Ive had both several times, and especially with an ory, Magnaflow will be noticeably louder than the hooker. Theyre both tame catbacks though, but I would vote Magnaflow. Its polished stainless steel, has great flow numbers, and can be had for under $400. Id say go Magnaflow..the sound is so sweet

If you spring for the new Magnaflow with the dual tips I vote for that, otherwise I like the Hooker better only because I don't like the single "cannon" tips of the original Magna.

Those "cannon" tips on the Magnaflow (don't like 'em personally) give it a blattier sound. The Hooker is softer.

Yeh I was going more towards the magnaflow since it is stainless steel. I might have to spring for cats if the rasp is going to be as rediculous as it is right now.

Anyone have any more pics? Im really insterested in seeing the hooker catback on a camaro because the few I've seen have looked like crap but I think they just didnt have the catback lined up right.

I agree completely - the Hooker is fairly quiet with headers, and VERY quiet on stock manifolds and cats. The Magnaflow gets more obnoxious than the Hooker once you bring ORY and headers into the equation.
