Default Best Price on Live or Tuner

This might not be the exact forum for this, but I figured it would hit the system experts.

I need your best price on either EFI Live or HP Tuners. I am going to buy this early this week, and could use the best shipping possible. Please PM me with what you've got. I'm really leaning towards Live because of their auto-tune feature.

I've got a 98 Z28 H/C with spray. It really needs a re-tune due to the fact it was tuned at about 2000ft elevation, and I run in about 150 ft elevation.

MODS: Feel free to move to appropriate section if need be.

If your referring to Auto VE HP Tuners originated this. Now if your talking about Roadrunner & RTRACS thats a different story & price

Hey, any info would be great. I am looking to go speed density for the next couple of years just because of the limited resources and time here in Alaska. I've always been a fan of HP Tuners, but it doesn't appear as friendly to the 98's like Live. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have both live and hpt and both work with my 98. Have you used either softwear package before? I assume that your looking at V1 if price is a big factor.

The only thing I've worked with is TunerCat for my old LT1. I just got into the LS1 world. Price isn't the whole issue, but the best price on the best product is what anyone looks for.

Since you have both, which do you prefer?

Both products will probably do what you want very well, but first you need to determine your needs:
1. Do you care about being futureproof? ie LS2, LS3, LS4, LS7 vehicles, I4/I5/I6, duramax , Standalone datalogging, analog inputs/outputs, etc. Because this will determine the hardware you'd want from both HP Tuners & Efi
2. Do you plan on tuning any other vehicles other than your 98 or do you just plan on selling it once your 98 is tuned? This will determine the final cost from both packages and which hardware you'd want to purchase.
3. If you plan on running SD on your 98 understand that no matter which package you purchase you'll loose resolution since you'll be on the secondary VE table which you'll then hear alot of people saying to swap to a 99+ pcm which means those free licenses won't mean much to you in the long run.

Well I like EFI live better personoly. The tutorials help trying to figure out how to use a new softwear. Yes best price on a product is what every one is looking for.

I would like to mess around with all 3 of my chevys. 03 Tahoe 02 Duramax, and the 98 Camaro.

How bad would it be using my 98 PCM this summer? This summerI'm just looking to pull timing for a little bigger shot of spray. That being said I want to be able to tune my car for elevation, FAST intake etc. this winter, and have it ready to go for next summer. I plan on keeping this program for a while just for the fact that I love tinkering with stuff.
