Default HP Tuners SD Tune - HELP Please!

My car is gonig to be fired up very soon. The only problem is for some reason the Aeromotive Fuel rails don't seem to be seating to the o-rings, so they're spraying fuel everywhere...

however, the guy building my car is looking on the HP tuners repository for a tune that will work well, and isnt' having much luck fiding a full SD tune... can anyone help me out and send one to me, or give me some info on how to identify ur tune in the repository...

looking for... full SD tune... .9bar, 60lb injectors, 220/224 114 or 115 cam (cna't remember)

just need something to get the car running with and break in with ... it will go to the dyno to get tuned ASAP, but i need somethign to get it going with... any Help is greatly appreciated!!! THANKS!

Don't take this wrong...but if the guy that's going to sd tune your car doesn't know how to set up a basic starter tune....you need a different tuner....you combo is very mild.

no problem... the builder isnt the guy that's going to tune it....
and he knows of a couple of tunes that are open loop MAF and closed loop MAP (or the other way around, i dunno)...
the guy tuning is very knowlegeable, but the builder adn I are just looking for somethign to save some time... if there is a SD only tune out there for 60lb injectors, we will be able to upload it and fire teh car up with minimal changes....

see what i mean?

Hey Bish,
Sounds like things are moving along nicely, Have you painted the hood yet?
Hope all goes well.

I might have one that can help you out. Same size cam, 60 lb injectors, 3 bar sd tune, m6, twin turbo, etc, etc... Shoot me an email address and I'll see if I can get it out to you later on today or maybe tomorrow.

To break in the motor, I would do a MAF based tune. Once the motor is broken in, ditch the MAF and do the SD tune. I broke my motor in with a MAF tune.

I would highly suggest NOT using another car's sd tune. The sd tune takes into consideration boost characteristics when getting your fuel right. Your boost characteristics could be VERY different than someone elses.

As someone mentioned above, I would use a MAF tune to start the car up, DO NOT BOOST IT, and go straight to a tuner to start the SD tune.

Also, as a side note, SD tunes done in the summer time need to be kept conservative. As the temps drop in the winter, you would be running dangerously lean. Hope that helps.

add a little RAF...take a little out of the low rpm ve table...make sure IFR is correct and fire it up.....after it is idleing and driving good, you can work on the booste ve table and timing but start way rich in boost and low timing and go from there.

well... he slapped the MAF on it and fired it up.... said it ran great.... so i'll suggest to him that we not go to SD until it is at the Tuner's place...

I had the same problem with aeromotive rails

You probably bolted the flanges to the rails then torqued them down to the manifolds right?

What you need to do is straighten them out, bolt the flanges to the manifold then push the rails down till the holes line up and put the bolts into the rail, that way the flanges dont get bent while torquing down the rails
