Default Any Catted y for the ebay headers yet???

Hi, Have not been on the board for a while and was wondering if anyone has come out with a catted y-pipe for the ebay headers yet?
Thanks,

If you are speaking of XS headers (since they are sold by a board sponsor now, they are not really "ebay" headers anymore), the company itself does not yet make a catted Y, however the TSP catted Y will fit just fine. The Jet Hot catted Y will fit too, but it's expensive and just about everyone i know of who has it despises it.

AUTOCHROME is the company that makes the XS headers.. From what I understand & I dont think they still Produce the Cat-Y.

You could just buy 2 high-flow cats and have them installed.

Speaking from experience the TSP y pipe didn't fit.

I was speaking from experience too. Guess it depends on the car, but it fit great in the install I did.

I recently had the XS headers and y-pipe installed. I waited a long time for the to come out with their y-pipe so that I'd get something that "should" marry up to their headers (which they do). IIRC, the only exiting y-pipe that came close to fitting, prior to the XS y-pipe, was a JetHot y-pipe. Someone once said that TSP's fit, but most found that was not the case. YMMV.

I had metallic high-flow cats (Thunderbolts), welded into my XS y-pipe. The exhaust shop I used is considered, by most F-Body owners in my area, one of the best. They (he) did a fantastic job! The cats are situated strangely, but after he explained what he was going to do and why, it made sense. The driver side cat sits directly under the gas lines. So, to protect them, he installed some insulated hose that I happened to have with me (lucky).

In any case, I'm happy with the work and now the state shouldn't mess with me too much.

Was it the multi-piece catted Y?

We are working on a catted Y but it will be awhile before it's out.
