Default Pushrod shroud broke???

Well after a little further inspection of my engine I found this part is cracked. I don't know all the terms or what this part is called but do I need to replace it?

It's the lifter tray like earlier mentioned.
I would replace it.

BUt yes replace the trays, they are pretty cheap.

Don't bother drilling the new trays. Its really only for high RPM (RACE) motors. You WANT oil in your lifter trays. It doesn't do much good in the pan.

I called GM today and they are $6.00 each brand new. The GM guy was completely stunned as he said it was the cheapest GM part he had ever seen. I already ordered one but hell I might as well order 3 more and get them all new
