Well about to turn 16 and i'm gettin an fbody!
Hey guys i'm new here. I will be turning 16 aug.9 and I will prolly be getting an 01' z/28 for about 6k with 140k miles on it. I hope it will be a very fun and reliable car to drive lol. My dad grew up with camaros and trans-ams so it just kinda got stuck in my DNA lol. I will probly be doin a little bit of modin but just a little because well lol I gotta get a job and pay for the stuff.
So let me know what you guys think and please accept me lol

Not to continue beating the dead horse but RESPECT the power that this car makes and then can later make.
Here's something you should look into doing which is affordable and can teach you a lot about your car. I did something like it and my brother who's turning 16 is taking the class in Sept.

For $60 you can't beat it and you'll get some idea of how to control your car in tricky situations.
ONE MORE TIME:
RESPECT THE CAR AND THE POWER!
Be Safe and good luck with your new ride.
P.S.
Here's my mentality: "I know I own a quick car, so I don't have to prove it to anyone."

I've had mine for about a year and a half and I worked all through high school to get it. I gradually upgraded my vehicles and finally ended up with this. I'm 21 and I'm doin a heads/cam swap right now.
I had a 88 iroc with a 305. It was raining one day when me and some friends were leaving the movies and its a huge left turn. You can already see where this is going.... I accelerated too much and the *** end spun around. Somehow i was able to a complete 360 and just go on my merry way. I wish I would have been able to see it from outside because it happened perfectly I got lucky and there werent any other cars around and I didnt hit anyone.
