As far as drag racing is concerned I wouldn't worry too much about it. It is only around 25 lbs. and may be beneficial on a near-stock car to leave the weight above the rear for better traction.

It's nice to only have the ability to carry one passenger. Most people complain about the back seats anyways.

P.S. This made me remember a great story. Last summer I picked these two girls up. Well one had to sit in the back. So we start out to head to a party and I tell them both to buckle up. The one in the back apparently didn't hear me because when I took a sharp turn she flew to the other side of the car. I almost died laughing. Her face was redder than a tomato, but she laughed it off too.

I don't see the point of removing them. If your car is that fast where 35 pounds is gonna make or break you I guess you shouldn't be driving it on the street anyway.

I find that the interior exhaust note is much better with the seat folded down. I may just take mine out to have that permanent :P

I took mine out so I can tell people I only have room for 1 passenger, and I think it looks better.

i took mine out for a couple days a while back i got some random amusment when my girlfriend wanted me to take her and a friend out for a ride ... first couple days of owning the car ... just gunna point out the fact i got bitched at they got in the car she bitched more i ******* turned up Cannibal Corpse and tuned her out

I put mine back in tonight. Hopefully more weight over the rear will be beneficial. Looks much better than the carpet with the gaps where the seat cushions are bolted in.

May have a new girl to get in the back seat as well

Good choice my girl isnt really that bad she liked it only being us 2 when the car runs it was just one of thoses moments plus yes i put my back seats back in i usally have like 3 girls in my car anyway right.... ehh once and awhile anyway enough to make me want to have the seats in i cant help it my girlfriends friends love me one offered sex to me in the bathroom of outback steakhouse tonight actually i love it but

anyway the seats dont take that much weight out i dont worry about it plus i love girls
