Default Newbie What next?

I just installed an MTI Airbox Lid and smooth bellows on my 1999 Z28. What should I do next? I'm thinking SLP LM Catback and 3.73 ring and pinion. Good idea?

if you want the SLP i would go LMII because it has an actual muffler, dont know what your future plans are but LT's and ORY w / no cats equals unbarably loud with a ton of rasp

I beg to differ... Get a 4K stall and that cleans up rasp completely!

Well, then your statement about RASP is "for some, but not all as well"..

you get RASP around what ~2K rpm or so.. Mine had it and I hated it. You put a stall over that and it gets rid of that RPM due to you being over it. It got rid of mine...

LM2 is still plenty loud, i like keeping the cats because it keeps a refined and crisp exhaust note, i have a setup very similar to the LM2 and it gets plenty of attention, sometimes unwanted attention, and the LM2 gives you the option of getting LT's and ORY without it being obnoxious sounding, i think it will be a good choice

LM1 seems to appear a lil' louder in an auto due to the situation of less gear shifting and longer time spent in the gear, LM1 has alot of drone and resonance in the interior also which is annoying when talking to someone or listening to the radio

So, what is the over-riding opinion? LM2 Catback or 3.73's with my 4L60E/

why not both?, i would do exhaust first so you got something to listen to, then gears and stall, 3:73's and 3k stall

No, not really...

A 3200 stall will take more gas/RPM then your stock verter to get it up and go, but it will give you more performance then exhaust... Maybe get a stall after your exhaust, but with an A4, a stall is a major must! It pretty much kills your deadspots when down shifting at WOT.
