Default Gas Mileage?

I'm getting a 98 z28 camaro with 108,000 miles...

what kind of gas mileage should I expect from the v-8?

i read somewhere 18/27. is this accurate?

is it an A4 or M6? The M6 cars really do get great milage on the highway...as for city...depending on how much of a lead foot you are expect 15-17

I keep pretty close track of my mileage and depending on my driving and how much I run the A/C, I see one-tank averages of anywhere from 13mpg to 18mpg. It's usually right around 16mpg. That's about 95% city driving. I'd be willing to bet that I'd get about 25mpg on the highway at 75mph.

Sounds like the fuel economy sticker - mine said 18/26 for an A4 car. Highway I can manage just over 24, even with 3.42 gears.

Currently I am averaging 18 MPG with my current mods driving in the city, but as stated before it will depend on how heavy your foot is!

I get freakin 200 miles a tank. IT doesn't matter how I drive, easy, beat the **** out of it, A/C on or off. 200 miles, thats it!!! It has new plugs/wires. I have seafoamed it, FTRA and K&N. 200 miles. It's a damn 6 speed. People on here talk about getting 250-300 miles. I don't believe it.
