Default Couple of questions. (breather/sidemarkers)

I just changed my intake elbow to the vortec one. I have that plug in breather thing hanging around, is there a way to get rid of it without hurting the car? Next question

How do you take off the sidemarkers? Im going to VHT them and I cant figure out how to get them off.

Anyone who helps, thanks

the turn lamps are sort of a PITA in a way small hands help here, the access panels under the front of the car on both sides you will need to remove them with a 10mm 1/4" ratchet then you will be able to reach and see the 7mm screws that hold the lamp onto the bumper cover (15-20min.)

not too sure about the elbow deal, it sounds as if you are talking about the air temp switch, that can be located closer to the air filter.the other rubber piece would be the opti vent line that also can be moved to a cool spot as well if you are equipped with a vented opti.

possibly,if you can post a pic of the elbow and the hose in question you can get a better more helpful answer

the top pic of the vac.hose should be put in the air intake hose.its the vent for the opti.
you have lights on for the TCS and the ABS!did you disconnect them and NOT have them tuned out of the PCM,96/97 don't play that game at all they are tattle-tales.they have to be tuned out of the pcm.

I dont believe I disconnected them. What plugs are those? Also, there is nowhere to plug that blue plug into, where should it go?

Engine looks nice and clean man...

That intake tubing with the 90* blue plastic piece is your optispark vent hose. It uses the intake vacume to draw air through the opti. Need to make a hole in your intake somewhere and stick it back in. OR, just cap off the vent ports on the opti and remove the tubing but, your increasing your chance of the opti failing then.

That purple plug looks like the Mass Airflow sensor plug.

I dont know about that blue & red plug. I just went out and looked around my engine and I didn't notice any blue & red plug like that... Maybe its for the TCS and since I dont have that option, could explain why I dont see that plug.
