pilot bearing removal

Default pilot bearing removal

anyone have any ideas on how to get this damn thing out? its the pilot bearing that comes with spec 2 clutch. a pilot bearing romoval tool isnt even working you slide hammer the hell out of this thing and it still wont move even cut up the bearing trying to make it weaker and the thing still wont budge!!!

It nothing works you may have to chisel it out with a hammer and flat head screwdriver, but be careful.

Try to jam the slide hammer in on an angle. I had one hell of a time getting mine out.

don't know about the bearing, but i used grease and a peice of round stock that matched the opening on my bushing. if that doesn't work, put a little heat around the bearing and a little dry ice inside the bearing.

We welded the damn removal tool to the thing when we did my spec. Slide hammer the hell out of it, it came out after a few pulls. I had the exact same problem

YES SHES OUT!!!!! took some liquid wrench and a little bit of drilling up the bearing then she popped out with a few blows of the slide hammer.
