Default !EGR done, now exhaust leaks, what to do?

I tightened it down as much as possible. The leak isn't bad, but I can hear it under acceleration, and I can feel a little air escaping if I put my finger down there on the driver side. I reused the factory gasket, it looked in good condition. THis is very annoying.

im assuming you got the speed inc block off plates? I used the paper gaskets that came with my longtubes, and i have no leaks at all.

If its that big of a deal, maybe pull it off and use a little black permatex?

Take it off and use some silicone or something on top of the gasket

I'll try tightening it up more tonight after work when it's cold, if that doesn't get a good seal, I'll try some high temp permatex or gasket maker.

My stock gasket was in several pieces. I'm not sure how you managed to keep yours in tact and reuse it. I cut out my own for the egr and air and threw some high temp permatex on it and it's been fine.

If the bolt isn't getting tight enough to make a good seal on that plate you could add some washers to both bolts. I had to do this on mine.

I'll do both the high temp permatex and the washers on the plate to put extra pressure down, thanks guys

I would put the washers on. When I deleted my AIR the bolts would bottom out on the hole. I didn't know this and broke the head off one of the bolts.
