Same POS I have, well the intake tube, I got a vortec elbow. I wouldn't. Get a real one, where R&D was gone into airflow and so forth. Plus it looks ugly as sin.

Big point of Restriction near the Throttle Body.
That and look at the advertising..you would think they would advertise their product on a clean Engine, not one that loooks like *******..I'll let that speak for their product.

Another key point, is it hits the ABS proportioning block and mildly hits the hood. I wrapped a cotton glove around that part to prevent rubbing. Eventually it'd rub a hole in the CAI tube since it's on the corner of the proportioning block.

dont just look on ebay, look on ls1tech for sale section too. i sold mine in there a few months back. just dont get that piece of **** there. thats something some ricer put together on his friends camaro. look, he's got coolant tubes zip-tied together and then engine bay looks like cartman took a diarrhea dump on it.

Regardless of how it looks, it will work and I believe it will give him the advertised results. A friend of mine bought one of those kits for his S10 and it fit fine.
I use to run a stock elbow and a piece of 3" ABS pipe with a K/N on the end. I hit it with a mallet to fit it between the ABS and the radiator. I ran that setup for 2 years and the car ran very well. Car went 13.3@106(2.0 60') with my air intake, 4.10s, Hooker shorties, and a cutout.

I would stay away from those ebay ones. You get what you pay for. I heard of one guy who got one of those and he said the tubing was cut rather cheaply and he got metal shavings sucked into the intake.
You can generally find the good ones for around 100 or slightly more in the classifieds here. I got an slp one for 130 (retail is double that).

Hey man I have a CAI also if your interested.... PM Me. The only thing is I'd have to wait till next week to sell it to you b/c I'm buying a Predator style hood with the ram air box to go with it. Let Me Know if your interested. I'll take $100.00. Either way stay away from that intake kit......Good Luck with your choice of CAI. JAMES
