Default Corrosion removal?

My driver's side headlight has some problems. Sometimes it goes up, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes the light is on, sometimes its not. I took the contraption apart using Brent Franker's (I believe that's his name) video. Anyway, when it was all taken apart there seemed to be corrosion in the power plug, hopefully that is the problem. Someone suggested baking soda and it did nothing. Does anyone else have ideas?

Sprite. The soft drink. You can use that to get corrosion off of battery posts. Seems like it would work here too.
