Default Hurricane Insurance Photos: 1996 Z28 SS

If the higher-ups decide on the evac order I'll be flying a plane out and have to leave her behind.

Got out the camera today (for insurance purposes) and thought I'd share.

Also haven't taken any since I put the black billet grille on earier this year.

Cheers,

-John

Try to park it at a tall parking garage (as far from the beach as possible), and then cover it. It should be fine, but If I was you, I would not leave it at your own garage (unless it is elevated).

BTW, car looks very clean. Hope all goes well for you guys down there.

Nice car man! Have you ever thought of VHTing your fog lights? so that they don't stand out behind your grille? Also, nice job with the SS emblem up front, I think I might do that to mine

Awesome looking SS...for some reason i always thought the LT1 SS's look much more mean and aggressive compared to the LS1's. I couldn't help but notice the rear painted calipers, yet no paint on the front :-D

Hey John, you left Enid in a hurry huh. Glad to see my twinkie is still looking hotter than ever! I would at least find a nice secure parking garage, if not try to have it shipped to a family members house or the likes. $1000 shipping charge is well worth the investment you have with the car. Especially the low #'s of them. Best of luck in the next journey.
P.S. - I will be heading to Corpus Sept 19th for Vettes and Jets on the Lex. should be fun! Have a silver C5 we will be decorating with aircraft style markings. should look neat when finished.

Thank you for all the compliments. For sure appreciated as there are A LOT of nice cars in the Sigs within this topic.

Just happened to be sitting there when I came by to snap pics. I had already committed to the turn-off there, or else I would have probably gone somewhere else.

Thought about this. We are on the mainland, but I don't know that being 200 ft. from the bay is any good...even IF we are 20 ft. up in elevation.

Hadn't even considered it, but now that you mention it...

Yes. 18x10's on all four corners.

lol. I know. I've got front LS1's painted and ready to go, just haven't found the time/tools/space to get 'em on there. Been moving and flying a lot and doing more moving soon. ...Hopefully to a house so I can have a REAL garage and set up shop.

I know it, Chris. Orders had me outta there about 4 days (normally get about 3 weeks or more) after I selected my pipeline. So far so good here, moving to Kingsville in about a month to fly the T-45 and will be able to get settled in a little more. Shipping would be a real possibility if it didn't look like it were going to be such an INdirect hit (God-willing) this time.

Look me up if you like when you are in town, would love to come see how that C5 turns out!
