Transmission Swap Status..
A few hours left....... we did get the wire harnesses all swapped out, and the automatic tranny from my car bolted onto his car... but we need to hook up the pedals, shifter, driveshaft, and exhaust back up and turn the car on with my automatic computer in his car and everything should be good to go except the gearing is different... He drove the car here, so one of the guys who was helping out who lives in riverside drove him home(simi valley), sux cause we were soo close to being done but no one that had offered me help before came to help (gotta love friends ! lol).. it was me 1 mechanic, my cuz, and Z. Didn't want to risk his car not running right so he went home @ 8 w/ the mechanic... Hopefuly when I get off from work at 1:30pm today (early) we can hookup the rest of his car so he can greyhound down here and go home - lol
For my car I need to install the Pilot Bearing, the tranny, exhaust, driveshaft, shifter inside, pedals, and his PC, and hopefuly be good to go...

psh like i care ***** ! I sold your car to some bum to drove it to TJ biatch ! Time to call your insurance ! lol
At any rate... his car is fully installed wire/mechanically but when we turn the key to the on position, no indicators light flash or anything, nor will the car start, but all other electronics work, anyone got any ideas? He currently has the complete auto wire harness installed..

nooooooooooooo
Time to swap it back again
Couple of things come to mind
1) is the car in park ?
2) was the break switch hooked up to the pedal ?
3) does the car care that the vin number is different ?
4) did we hook up the starter back up correctly ?
Make sure the battery terminals are tight

Car was tried in park/Neutral wouldnt turn if it wasn't anyways it locks the key out
Break lights turn on and off when the pedal is pushed ?
I tried both computers in the car
Im pretty sure the started is hooked up right, indicators should light up anyways eh?
Im thinking since you say you don't have TC and there IS an extra wire right next to the cigarette lighter that maybe that is something ? It looked like the TC wire on my car.. ill have to check it out when I get to the shop
