LS7 clutch review
Mods are in sig, made 373 and 370 at the wheels. And I love this clutch. The relase point has already come up after only 250ish miles. Grabs like hell and the is just amazingly easy to push in. Would def recommend this clutch.. cant beat the price either

Sounds good, where's a good place to buy both the ls7 clutch and ls2 flywheel?

No shim, and I don't think you will beable to get it local. The guy who did the work on my car has a great connection at a local dealership and his guy price matched matt, but couldn't believe that he can sell it at that price... My advice, just get it from SDPC, thats what I was gonna do until my bud was able to get it. BTW i've talked to matt a couple of times about other things and he is a great guy to deal with.

LS7 is the clutch to go with. Only a few problems ive had which are kinda my fault. the Ls7 clutch dosnt seem to like track duty like the LS6 did, you deffinently need to let it cool down a bit. Also one time I downshifted messin around with some audi and spun the hell out of the clutch But I would give the clutch a 10 out of 10, very affordable and will handle any respectable ls1 power

I was thinking about trying an LS7 when i replace my 3+ soon. I let some girl drive my car one night when i was wasted and she broke my 3+ cause she couldnt drive it right. It still drives but it slips sometimes, so i need a new clutch now.
I just doubt the LS7 will stand up to 700 ft lbs though.
Note to self- Dont take the trans am out when you plan on getting wasted.

On the LS7 clutch mine still lives after a year of beating on it & my H/C install. So I'm also very happy with it. Not to mention the ease of install.

NO SHIM.
I have seen this asked WAY too many times on here. I'm not pickin on you specifically so don't take this as a direct insult.
This clutch is a DRIECT BOLT-ON replacement/upgrade. This means no shims & it will work perfectly fine with all stock bolts & hydrolics.
68birdls1: I have had it in for about a year. Several track passes including a couple hot laps. Never had a issue & I have cut a 1.9 60' on it without it slipping. Though it is important to note I only run on street tires b/c of my 10-bolt.
The clutch itself probably has about 15k on it since installed & 5k on the H/C install. Still lights them up @ 40mph in third on a good clutch dump too.

Every person that I have talked to about the LS7 clutch said not to shim it. It has a self adjusting system, the pedal will come up off of the floor after x-amount of miles. Just do as the instructions say and you will be fine.
