well i went to the track, last year i was running 12.86's @ 110.4 mph,
since then i put the 9" in with 4.11's and drag radials. torque arm etc.
well, i was hoping for a deep 12 run, now the track temp was cold, and my clutch was stock. so it was holding me back, i ordered a spec stage 3+ clutch.
think with a good bite i can run a 12.20? 1.75 was with bfg drag radials, but any quicker i would break loose. so i am hoping for a sunny day next time for some more track temperature.
id like to see a sub 1.69 60 ft time. at 12.50 @ 112 i launched only at 3800 rpm, and my motor bogged down after the dump. so i need it to stick from like 5000+

in the higher gears it didnt seem to bad. my tires are only 25.4" tall, with 4.11 gears. i thought the trap was pretty decent.
but regardless i might be ordering a set of et streets that are 26.5" tall, so that will definately help out my trap and with sticking off the line.
how do you think it would effect my e\t? going with the taller tire?
and new clutch was ordered today, Spec Stage 3+ should have it in next week.

yea id say MPH is down, i was running 12.30's at 113 with just boltons, gears, and slicks in the goat. id say the 9" is robbing some power, but im sure the clutch isnt holding up as well as you'd like it to. what altitude are you running at? that could reall effect the cars performance

Awesome 60 time. I can only hope my Nitto Drag Extremes hook like that. You bogged at a 3800 launch, I am going to try a 4000 launch and then adjust up or down from there. GOOD LUCK !!

When I replaced my stock cluck to a Spec 3 I picked up .3 from a 13.2 to a 12.9.
I put a cam in this year and have only went to the track once and my car wouldn't go into 4th gear. With a slow 3-4 shift I ran 12.5@116. That is with a 26" BFG drag radial, a bad track and 2.0 60'.
So my pt is your trap speed seems low, possibly the clutch slipping. I think both of our cars are just barely capable of 11's if everything goes perfectly.

at the track, very disapointed. i ordered my m\t et streets today, and am very exciting to see what a real tire is capable of.
