Default Damn 4l60e....

ok, so I was doing some spirited driving last night. All was well.

Fast forward 2 hrs when I go to drive home. I noticed that the RPM would surge as I was cruising at 55. It started out as just 2-300 rpm or so. Next when I went to leae from a light, it felt like I was drivin over a rumble strip slowly for a few seconds and the rpm didnt move, then they shot up to 3500 or so and the car moved slowly forward.

That just got worse and then the car (when in D) when the gas pedal is pushed, would just rev and have no forward movement. It slowed down, and then putting it in D did nothing, neither did 1 or 2 or Reverse... it'll roll forward and backward and you can put the shifter into all of the gears, but the car wont move by tself.

6 weeks with the damn thing.

sounds like you smoked up some clutches last night very strange you dont have reverse though what is the fluid condition? is the first step to solving your problem and do you have access to a set of pressure guages

the fluid slowly drains from the passenger side, near the rim.. No, I dont have access to those guages that I am aware of, but I will ask around.
Funny that you replied first, Your website was the first one that I found when I googled built tranny's.

you may want to check the fluid level if you said it is draining as in a leak it mey be out of fluid

it wasnt draining until it wasnt shiftign anymore SO I think it was a tranny cooler line or something at first. I'm going to check all of those and pull the tranny pan in a few minutes. Is there a phone number listed on your site? I have a few questions for ya
