Serpentine Lubricants
My serpentine squeaks. I think it's the tensioner bearing, but it might be the belt. What should I use on the belt? What should I use in the bearing? How do I apply them?

We use GM Super Lube at the dealer. Part #12346241.
But you can just spray some WD on the belt and see if the noise goes away. If the noise is still there you use a long screwdriver to use as a stethescope and listen to each pulley to determine which one is making the noise.

It's coming from the tensioner pulley. I'm not sure if the sound is just bouncing off it, but I've walked around the engine and listened. It's coming directly from the tensioner pulley. Can I relube it or do I have to get a replacement?

I don't believe the pulley is sold seperatley, you will probably need to buy the whole tensioner.

I changed the tensioner pulley. It's better, but not fixed. I bought a replacement idler pulley. If all else fails, the engine has 82k on it and some new ones won't harm anything. I just need to finish building my ramps so I can get under the car and change the pulley. Hopefully, that will be it.
