i have a question. I am very close to ordering teh Low beams for my 2001 SS.. Probably within a day or two. The only thing holding me back is that i was also looking into buying the new twin halo headlights down the road. I kno they use different bulbs. Would there be a way to order new bulbs through you without buying the whole kit? If necessary, a PM with a reply would be appreciated.

-adam

edit.. nvm, i found on your site that you sell new bulbs seperatly... thanks

Adam,
To add, unless you get the new PROJECTOR style the bulbs are usually the same.

I believe those use an H3 then, and yes you can get just the H3 bulbs and use the same ballasts.

Any problems with melting the fog lamp housings in trans am's? I know HIDs are powered by less wattage but do they get hotter than the factory bulbs?

We have had 1 problem, which I have yet to figure out why. We have tested them, left them on for about 6 hours straight, and had no problems, but for some odd reason 1 person has had the very middle part start to "change". It didn't melt through, just started warping the plastic.

And it's because they get hotter, they actually produce less heat, but they are closer to the front plastic.

Are the headlights for the 98-02 trans setup for HID's? I dont want to go around blinding people cause I dont have a decent cut off pattern.
