Attached is a photo I found of a 4L80E and a 400. The 4L80E is longer and heavier.

4l80e thanks for photos iam using the 4l80e just got my shortblock yesterday they forgot to ship all my covers for the engine as soon as i get them iwill start the install and i will let you know

man if the billhousing is stock i think it should fit in your car with the kit Street tuna should anwer that for you .. is the size off the billhousing on the stock M6 transmetion is smoler that the A4 ?
