Default Maf Dont Want To Fit!!!!

Alright Guys I Know I Have Posted This Thread A Few Times But This Will Hopfully Be The Last. Okay I Bought The Slp 85mm Maf, And I Got The Slp Smooth Bellow. After Doing Some Triming On The Smooth Bellow I Finaly Got It To Fit But I Had To Force It On There And The Clamps On The Lid. I Got It On There Were It Look Okay And Im Driving Today And It Throws A Code. The Code Was The Car Was Running To Rich. So Am I Doing Something Wrong Or What Do You Guys Think.
If Anyone Could Please Post Some Closeup Pics Of Your Aftermarket Maf On Your Car (slp Maf) If Possible. I Would Very Highly Apprciate It.

Thanks
Billy

It's probably the maf itself. Has it not been dialed in? Are you close to stock/tuned? If so, it's an easy fix, put the stock unit back in.

Mine didn't throw any codes when I put mine in. Double check your connections, make sure all your clamps are tightened down and your lid is sealing properly.

There's nothing to be gained with an aftermarket maf until you're at 450rwhp, otherwise the stock one isn't chocking the system. Sell it for some $.

Mine threw cat codes after six months of driving with the SLP MAF and I was only able to fix it with a tune.
