Default Underdrive Pulley + or - ????

I am considering an underdrive pulley for my LS swap. Any plus or minus experience you have with them please chime in. I am not going to be running any stereo equipment or power accessories. As a matter of fact the LS will be the only draw as far as electrical goes.

What kind of life should be expected from this as compared to the stocker?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Yahelou, thank for the reply. Is there any preferred brand or type to be looking at for this. I have been looking at the ASP brand because of price alone. I will be running a G5X2 cam with this if that makes any difference at all.

Never thought about throwing the belt. Is the ASP prone to this? What RPM were you running to throw the belt?

ASP has had a belt throwing issue from what i have read but the fix for that is a Katech belt tensioner. It has the high lip on the pulley. I have the ASP Underdrive pulley and Katech tensioner on my car right now and have not had a single problem

I've been running the asp for 3 years now with no problems at all. Never thrown a belt.
