East Side Performance 1st Cam Only Bolt On Package (431 RWHP)
Just to give you a taste of what we can do at East Side Performance we've developed our first cam package on an F-BODY, NOT A C5. We made all this power with just a cam and a bunch bolt on's. As soon as our 1st set of Ls1 heads come back from our CNC porter we will update on our new dyno numbers.
MODS: Air Lid, Ported MAF, Ported Throttle Body, Smooth Bellow, NGK TR55 Spark Plugs, 12.5 Lb Flywheel, Dyno Tech Headers with custom exhaust, Under Drive pulley, 160* thermostat, ESP 1 Camshaft, LS1 Edit, Spec Stage 3 Carbon Clutch, with a stock rear and 3:42 gears
PS:2002 Firebird M6, heads have never been off the car, and a untouched bottom end. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> <img src="http://www.jailhouse-diary.com/esp1.jpg" alt=" - " />

I've got one word to describe this:
phe·nom·e·nal
Pronunciation: fi-'nä-mi-nil
1-relating to or being a phenomenon EXTRAORDINARY, REMARKABLE

Re: East Side Performance 1st Cam Only Bolt On Package (431 RWHP)
Um... 431 rwhp cam only?
How many tricks were involved?
Can we make a deal?
If I throw this cam in my car and I make
430rwhp on stock heads I'll pay you DOUBLE
the price of the cam.
If it comes under 420rwhp the cam is free.
Deal?
I'm not trying to be a Dick, but if that kind
of power is to be made on stock heads,it is
worth double to me.
Let me know.
I made 365rwhp through a 12 bolt with 4.10
gears with bolt on's.

Re: East Side Performance 1st Cam Only Bolt On Package (431 RWHP)
First off, a special thank's to Guy, Kenny, Richie and Kevin for all their help and expert advise.
I only hope that this post wont turn into a pissing contest among all the guy's who refuse to believe that we obtained this power out of an F-body with cam and bolt-ons. There are a lot of ls1 specialists doing their homework out there, and the guy's at East Side are on their A game. Please realize that this is a complete package, not just a cam and a couple of trinkit's here and there. I also read that there is already speculation of dyno trick's....No dyno trick's no short belt's no nothing just like I drove it home. One run was thru the full exhaust and the other was an open y-pipe. The car run's extreamly strong. (like a freak) Most of the sponsor's on this board have brought performance to the next level lately and East Side is the first to do it with a bolt-on and cam package. That's the plain truth. I hope some of you guy's out there can get the same performance from them as I did. The staff over there is very polite, curteous and professional. I highly recommend them to all of you out there.
Soon they will be adding head's to this package and we will update the new number's. Thank's again East Side!!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: East Side Performance 1st Cam Only Bolt On Package (431 RWHP)
Since noone else asked I will....Are these SAE numbers and what was the correction factor?
Looks like you got an 02 with LS6 heads. Can't wait to see the cam specs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I believe the #'s are true..They listed the bolt-ons and light flywheel.You can get serious power with a big Cam.The big question is longivity and drivability <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I highly doubt that the exact atmospheric conditions were with the atmospheric pressure at 29.23 in/hg., the temperature 77°F and the humidity zero. Because there was humidity in the air (no where is humidity zero) and the temp was 7° under the SAE correction factor of 77° you really need to run the corrected SAE numbers and repost both the corrected and uncorrected numbers.....they may be close since the correction factor may also be close to 1.0.
