Default COMP 232/240 .595/.608 115LSA RPM Range?

Does anyone know what the RPM range with this cam (232/240 .595/.608 115LSA) should be? Just still alittle concerned about numbers under the curve with this cam with my set-up.Will most likely set idle @ 850 and rev limiter @7000.

That's the EPP cam. Makes great power everywhere, don't be concerned about lowend.

You cant put a 232/240 @ .050 cam in anything and not expect some low end loss

I shift my car at 7000rpm with that cam, thats where it runs the best for me but with more displacement I doubt you will see over 6800 for shifts.

I would not worry about power under the curve with a 404ci and that cam. There are not many cam experts in here, but my guess would be 3krpm to 6800rpm if installed straight up. Also, there are too many factors that play into it for someone to guess. You have to think about your heads, actual bore/stroke, valvetrain, tuning and how the cam is installed. Anyone of those things can affect your RPM range. If everything is optimal I would think that cam is a good choice.

With a 404-that cam will make ALOT of power under the curve-right from 2000 grand to 6200 would be my guess-If the blower can keep making steam than it might pull higher. I'll have some comparison notes for you soon-I have a similar combo. BTW-the car will idle very tame as well.
