hood orniment
just want some opinions here. where i live there are several WS6's and i wanted to set mine apart. i was thinking of putting a hood ornimant in the very front of the hood before the nostrils get big. i have a pic of a WS6 hood with a guy skiing as an orniment but i dont like that. i want something like an eagle or a hawk (firebird. haha ) swooping down with its wings spread and claws reaching out. what do you guys think? if i go ahead with it i dotn even know where to look/who to talk to to get started so if anyone has some advice it would be appreciated as well.
edit: the pic i have says somethign about pontiac sponsoring canadas ski team or something. if anyone wants to host the pic i'd gladly send it to them

Hmmmm........I would say, take the money and time it would take to make something like this (because I have never seen anything like that).......and do something else to set yourself apart......
the hoods lines are clean just as they are......
custom stripes are a better choice IMO......

Sure sounds like the picture of the poster I have in my webshots gallery. It's a GM licensed Canada Olympic Ski Team poster and has a chrome ornament of a skier mounted atop the WS6 hood between the front of the nostrils.

Re: hood orniment
do you guys know of anyone that makes custom decals? i dont want to paint anything on b4 i actually see it on my car and i think decals would be the way to go with that. i've been playing around with the flames idea for a while but i didnt want a bright color. then it came to me... black!@ and i always liked the look of tribal flames so its a perfect match. anyway, is there a good decal place anyones heard of? i thought we had one as a sponsor but i cant seem to find him.

If you were here in Az I would hook you up.
If you want custom work I would recommend hitting up your local Sign Companies. That is who I had do my hood. All these guys use Hi Perf Vinyl just like any grafix co will. It is more expensive this route but that is the cost of custom vs. mass produced. You also get to work with THEM on YOUR design this way.
