Default Why is'nt it faster?

I went to the track last night. Im kinda disapointed. Was the reason why i wasnt faster just because it was my first time, do you think somethings wrong with the car or what. Here are my bests.

Im kinda disapointed, but it was my first time...

Bests

Reaction .0084
60' 2.0441
330' 5.7338
1/8th 8.7331
1/8th mph 82.37
1000 ET 11.3414
1000 MPH 94.50
1/4 mile ET 13.5480
1/4 mile MPH 102.72

So... Judging by the times why arent i running 12's?

I tried all types of combonations of lower air pressure, TCS on\off and burning out and not.....

So from all the information that ive given whats the problem? Do i just need to practice or what? If it sounds any better i didn't loose any. I did race an 07 Shelby mustang, and won.

Car is a 2001 TA LT's DR's TD's 3500 TC.

I would get your hands on a good set of tires. That would probably drop .3 off right there.

60' sucks. Lowered definately doesn't help. She's probably closing in on 3700lbs w/ driver. Pretty much stock. Times are what I'd expect.
Take her back up and get some MT DR's, take some weight out and see what she does.

Your trap speed looks a little low-have you had it tuned? weather has a lot to do with it of course, but with similar mods, and short times, mine traps at 109.7 in good air- 102mph seems soft, even in bad air, I would suspect its pig-rich, among other things.
