it should work but will be turbulence . best thing to do is pull the intake apart and put the bottom half on and see where the ports line up or if they are off to much . you may be able to open up your heads to the fast ports but not 100% on that

Default intake port velocity matters

Personally from my experience working at Edelbrock for several years I was trained and always told that general rule of thumb is you can have a smaller intake port runner exit going into a slightly larger cylinder head port entry to promote airflow velocity, but you cannot ever have a larger intake runner exit going to a same size or smaller port entry on the heads.
That will cause turbulence and hurt port flow velocity.
By the way.............
Stock 200cc volume cathedral intake port size on LS1 sand cast heads are: 1.036"
And LS6 intake port size is 1.101"
Measure the intake port exit and compare to your heads entry.
I am not sure about intake port specs on the LS6 SPM(Semi-Permanent Mold) heads.
But, they should be very close. These are the ones with a triangle symbol casted under the exhaust port between the head-bolt bosses on the sides of the cylinder heads
